Apples

We have a large variety of apples available, both pick your own and pre-picked. Below, you’ll find a list of all of our varieties listed in the approximate order they are available. The exact date depends on weather- and can shift as much as three weeks from year to year. Check our Facebook for more accurate dates of availability for each season! PLEASE NOTE: This is an approximate list. Sometimes certain varieties get frozen out in the spring, so some year we may not have a crop of certain varieties.  Produce

Our list of fresh produce changes throughout the season During summer, we regularly have summer squash, zucchini, eggplant, onions, potatoes, cucumbers, sweet bell peppers, watermelons, cantaloupes, green beans, and more.

As the weather cools down, we bring out the pumpkins, butternut squash, acorn squash, and Mums.

Tomatoes

Each year we plant roughly 4,000 tomato plants, staggering the plantings by two weeks to guarantee we’ll have fresh tomatoes all summer long. We have varieties ranging from heirlooms like Cherokee Purple and Mortgage Lifter, to classics like Mountain Fresh and Carolina Gold. We also have plenty of delicious cherry tomatoes, perfect for adding to your favorite salad.

Baked Goods & Snacks

Our local baker, Broody Hen Bakery, makes all of our pies, cookies, and other goodies. We also have fresh baked bread, apple cider donuts, and more.

We carry locally roasted coffee, snacks, Virginia peanuts, caramel corn, and ice cream!

Dairy and Meats

We’re so excited to now carry local milk, cheeses, eggs, beef, pork, and more! Our cheeses come from Harvue Farm, a Virginia family owned and operated farm. Our meats come from Heaven’s Hollow Farm located in Orange County, Va- just over half an hour away! Our Milks come from Richland’s creamery near Farmville, VA.

Canned Goods

Jams, jellies, salsas, fruit butters, BBQ sauces, salad dressings, and syrups! Anything sweet or savory to add a little homemade goodness to your meals!

 Honey

Raw, local, unpasteurized honey from our very own bee hives. The fruit trees rely on honey bees for pollination, so we have over 20 hives on site that we pull honey from a few times a year. Whether you drizzle it on toast or add it to your tea, our honey is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Available in 1.5lbs, 3/4lb, and 6 oz. jars.

 Cider

During the summer months we have pasteurized peach and cherry cider. Once more varieties of apples come in during the fall, we have UV pasteurized apple cider available.

Gifts

Handmade candles with scents like apple cinnamon, Bonfire night, and mountain trail as well as local bath and body products like goats milk soaps, lotions, lip balms, body sprays etc. We also carry gifts from local artists like sterling silver rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. And don’t forget our t-shirts, hats, tote bags, and other goodies that are sure to make great gifts!

Peaches

We will have pre picked peaches available from mid/late July through Labor Day. Pick your own peaches are more limited than apples due to the earlier season and fewer number of trees. Call ahead to confirm pick your own availability.
